Hello dear friends of Hive and Visual Shots

I am very happy to be in this community.
For this occasion I bring you a somewhat different post.
It is about a small visit I made to a library, and in it was this small art exhibition.

An exhibition that was made by the home for the elderly of San Cristobal, the town where I live.

An exhibition that pays homage to the hidden thoughts that grandparents had, both in their childhood and in the present.

Estoy muy feliz de estar en esta comunidad.

Para esta ocasión les traigo un post algo diferente.

Se trata de una pequeña visita que hice a una biblioteca, y en ella se encontraba esta pequeña exposición de arte.
Una exposición que realizó el hogar para adultos mayores de San Cristobal el pueblo en donde resido.

Una exposición que hace homenaje a los pensamientos ocultos que tuvieron los abuelitos, tanto en su infancia como en el presente.

These small and large sculptures are self-made, with the help and guidance of a local artist.

They are made with cardboard, cloth, felt, some with wood and a lot of love.

The place is very colorful thanks to these sculptures.

They reflect their thoughts and fears in a funny way.

Something very special that caught my attention.

Estas pequeñas y grandes esculturas están hechas por ellos mismo, con la ayuda y guía de una artista del pueblo.

Están hechas con cartón, tela, fieltro, algunas con madera y con mucho amor.

El lugar es muy colorido gracias a estas esculturas.

En ellas reflejan sus pensamientos y sus miedos de manera divertida.
Algo muy especial que me llamo mucho la atención

Reading each note they have left on each small sculpture is really touching.

As you read, you can immediately teleport back in time and into their worlds.

You feel like you become a little bit familiar with them.
Little thoughts that may sound something small and insignificant to other people, to them and to many other people can mean too much... and more so when it symbolizes the fear in the moment.

I could relate.

Leerle cada nota que han dejado en cada pequeña escultura, es realmente conmovedor.

Al leer, inmediatamente te puedes teletransportar al pasado y a sus mundos.

Sientes que te familiarizas un poco con ellos.
Pequeños pensamientos que pueden sonar algo pequeño e insignificante para otras personas,para ellos y para muchas otras personas pueden llegar a significar demasiado.. y más cuando simboliza el miedo en el momento.

Me sentí identificada.

A really cozy and meaningful place.

Sometimes we feel alone in so many things...and we don't think that there are many people going through the same thing.
Little thoughts or small events make a difference to you in..both good and bad.

Really interesting pieces to look at.

Super detailed and colorful.

Un lugar realmente acogedor y significativo.

A veces nos sentimos solos en tantas cosas..y no pensamos qué hay muchas personas pasando por lo mismo.

Pequeños pensamientos o pequeños acontecimientos te hacen la diferencia en ..tanto buena como mala.

Unas piezas realmente interesantes de observar.
Súper detalladas y coloridas.
