Gopalpur Sea beach and Hotel Pramod - Lands End

(Edited)

One day was not enough for the place

Gopalpur.png

After finishing our lunch at the Tampara Resort, (refer my last post), we headed straight to the Gopalpur Sea beach. The check in time was early, but we could only reach there at 4 pm and after checking in to Hotel Pramod Lands End, we wanted to spend the evening at the beach.

The hotel is a new property that has been developed just few months ago, and it was a posh experience for all of us. They charged 9k per room that included breakfast, and it was no less than a 5-star experience. We quickly changed and headed for the beach, but could not resist taking some snaps before.

The pathway to the beach would be around 500 meters, but the land actually ends there - so a thoughtful name of the property. They are developing this property so hopefully after couple of years, this will look more beautiful. People working over there advised us to come back before dark, because this part of that area is not very safe after evening, especially with family and not in a very big group. That was a bit disappointment, probably the hotel could have done better in providing some people for safety till 8 p.m.

Sea side view of the property, quite sure they will get popular soon and price will increase.

Quite a rare capture from far, thanks to the zooming capability of the lens.

A solo reel was inevitable, you can watch in her Instagram :

And then a bit of practice to do a combo, but it did not shape up, so postponed for next morning.

DSC05688.JPG

Coming back, the kids went to the pool and we went to the room for a hot cup of tea. The room service needs to be a little better, it took almost 45 minutes to get the tea.

DSC05690.JPG

DSC05699.JPG

A little less than 600 rupees for couple of cup of tea - felt like over priced, so we decided to go out for dinner. They do have a gaming arcade, nicely named as La La Land, but then everything was payable, with the price being on higher side.

The boy was quite disappointed there, they close all these facilities by 8 p.m..

The morning was quite blissful, with the outside view. We wanted to go back to the beach before the sun comes and shoot a reel that she had in mind, but our choreographer (daughter) and director (son) were not ready.

The director came in by the time we finalized the location and the choreographer joined as well. The reel is yet to be released, I will share once it comes out of the studio :). It took multiple shoots and then we headed for breakfast (included in price) as we had to check out of the hotel by 10 am.

Quite a lot of options to choose from, we enjoyed the breakfast and then checked out to drive to Daringibadi, which was my first experience of driving in a hilly road. Before leaving the place, we could not miss taking some more memories.

Next time, we will plan couple of days to this same place, the first day being prepared to enjoy some water sports at Tampara Lake, and then relax at Gopalpur. And take some more people with us - a group is always more fun.

Interesting, I don't think I have ever seen chicken salami before. I have seen turkey pastrami, but that's probably about the closest thing. This looks like a really nice place. The infinity pond is quite cool!

We also tried the smoked salmon for the very first time, never thought, it would be in a breakfast.

Smoked salmon is pretty delicious. I used to work for a guy that would bring the whole fish in and just lay it out on the table. Then people would pick at it through the day.

You people are enjoying life in true meaning.
Outstanding views. The price of two cups of tea 600 is a bit more overcharging.
But the facilities are outclass.

100% agree there. May be a all meal plan for couple of days and relax would be our next try.

This sounds like it was a wonderful trip Sandeep bhai. I love how you welcome all of us to enjoy, albeit indirectly, such beautiful places with your wonderful family. I am looking forward to check out the reel. I keep trying to convince my wife that we need to do some reels sometimes but she gets all bashful. But I believe that in future these fun things are what will be better remembered and will help to keep the family close. Thanks again for sharing and looking fwd to you future trips.

I keep trying to convince my wife that we need to do some reels sometimes but she gets all bashful.

In our case, its just the opposite, she has it in her gene, and I am trying to match :) May be she will agree after seeing ours ? I shared one Insta link, which she did solo there. The combo is about to be released.

The owner of that hotel must have spent a lot of money to make it look as attractive as that
That’s a nice one. I’m glad you enjoyed your time with your family
Keep it up!

How are you dear friend @sanjeevm good afternoon
What a beautiful place they chose to stay, everything is very luxurious, it is a shame that the room service is not a good service.
What beautiful shots, I love this place, I would have no problems staying in a hotel like this
Thank you very much for showing us this experience
Have a beautiful afternoon

Wow, that was a very beautiful place. They offer a lot of amenities from sports, to arcade, areas for relaxing, a pool, and the beach. There is too much to do, and it is nice that you were able to try them out.

I'm more fascinated by the hotel views. It's looking luxurious by views that you captured in camera. No doubt your camera person should get a reward.
Be happy and blessed😊

a lot to explore, one day is not enough for sure.

Similarly, when there are so many beautiful places, one cannot visit the whole place in one day, so one should visit such beautiful places twice a week to see all the things and all the beautiful sights. The benefit of this will be that the two days of the week will be very good and the person will live a very relaxed life.
