Tomb of Saint Oscar Arnulfo Romero in the Crypt of the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Salvador

The remains of Saint Oscar Arnulfo Romero, known as “the saint of America,” are located in the crypt of the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Salvador, in the basement of the temple. The bronze sculpture features a jasper stone symbolizing the bullet that took his life.
