Wednesday Walk - Weekend in nature

Hello everyone.
New Spring #WednesdayWalk is here. This weekend I spent decent amount of time out in the nature. Everything is awakening and by each day there are more colors around. Surely with colors and flowers insects follow and you get lovely sound with beautiful scenery.
One of the weekends well spent.

This weekend we decided to check our meadow and do some spring clean up. It is nice part of land with some hill on one and small water stream on other. On the on side there is a forest nearby and good shade during summer heat.
Super place to run away from the outside noise and relax.

At this time of the year dandelions are all over the place.

With dandelion flowers bees are there to collect the polen and nectar.

Small forest is nice place to take a walk. There is shadow pathway along the tree line.

Special flowers that grow in the forest and on the edges of the forest.
As you walk around you may see many of these flowers.

Of course you can stumble on snails.

And frog as well.

And here is, for me at least, one of the landmarks of this meadow. The giant anthill. I remember as kid, when ever I visited here, that one giant anthill sitting on the edge of the property. Covered with thousands of small twigs and ants always working on it. Nice to have this anthill as reminder on those times.

This one is smaller than that giant ant hill from the childhood but it should grow with time.

As you take a walk toward water stream dandelions seeds follow you.

Willow trees are along the water stream.

Another lovely spot as you can only hear water flow. It used to be more water here. Now during summer there is no water at all for some time.
Maybe this summer there is a different story.

It was lovely weekend here. Walk through the memories you may say.
Always nice to come back and enjoy the scenery.

I really liked how you picked up on the dandelions, an often overlooked flower, but so important for the soil as well as the bees.

You are right. Dandelions are hard to miss, and bees are their frequent visitors.
Tnx for stopping by.
