Walk on the mountain Igman - Wednesday Walk

Hello everyone.
Time for another #WednesdayWalk .
Past weekend with a group of friends we were at mountain Igman. Beautiful mountain near Sarajevo, capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Igman and Bjelasnica mountain are close to each other. Weather was very nice and walk way very enjoyable.
Since the mountains are close to each other I took photos of Bjelašnica mountain as well.
Both Trebević and Bjelašnica are on of the Olympic mountains since some events of 1984 Winter Olympics were held on these mountains.

Nice sunny weather and nice clean trails.

Finally we reached destination.

Beautiful sight. Here you can see mountain Bjelašnica. It is already covered in snow. Until this weekend we did not have any snow in city. Today actually started to snow here in Sarajevo and in other cities.

Mountain Bjelašnica has around 200 snow days during one year. It is very popular destination during winter.

Lovely scenery.

Later we went on Veliko polje or Big field. It is huge area surrounded by the pine trees. Many people visit here during summer and winter as well.

Here on Veliko polje some competitions of Winter Olympic games were held.
You can see that Veliko polje is surrounded by pine tree forest and this is the reason why this is one of the best locations in Europe regarding air quality.

Here there are wooden huts were you can sit and there here you it is allowed to start fire.
