Being observed by nature - it's a two way thing.

In forests deep where shadows dance,
Beneath the moon's enchanting trance,
I wander through a world unknown,
And ponder if I'm not alone.

Is nature watching me, I muse,
As moonlight paints the leaves with hues?
Do whispered winds in secret jest,
Reveal the truths that I've confessed?

The stars above, like distant eyes,
Gaze down upon this mortal guise,
Do they perceive my fleeting plight,
In the depths of this mystic night?

The river's flow, a timeless stream,
Reflects my thoughts, or so it seems,
Does it mirror my soul's desire,
As I walk through nature's ancient choir?

Each rustling leaf, a whispered word,
From ancient trees, unheard, unheard,
Do they conspire in nature's grand scheme,
To make me wonder, to make me dream?

In this surreal, enchanted place,
I seek a glimpse of nature's grace,
And as I wander, lost in thought,
I wonder what by them is sought.

For in this dance of earth and sky,
Beneath the moon's ethereal sigh,
I question if I'm just a part,
Of nature's vast and beating heart.

thanks very much. Yes that little bird was the cutest, I rescued him after he flew Into the house accidentally. He squeezed my finger as he held onto me. It was the best feeling of connection for a few minutes between us. These are the precious moments that make life particularly special.

I agree, we must find enjoyment in the small moments, they're often more readily found.
