Hello....

In the PhotoFeed Wildlife Photography Contest Round 136 hosted by @photofeed, I attempted to share a photo of sparrows. This photo shows a pair of sparrows hiding behind a clump of leaves, faithfully guarding their nest. Sparrows are a small bird species that are very familiar to humans, especially in rural areas.

Sparrows are known for their tiny bodies, short, thick beaks, and brown or blackish feathers. In the photo, the sparrow appears to have a thick, gray beak, typical of seed eaters. Its small size allows it to fly nimbly among trees and bushes.

Sparrows typically live in groups and are easily found in rice fields, gardens, or yards. They build nests from dry grass, leaves, or plant fibers neatly woven into bushes or trees. This photo captures a beautiful moment when the sparrow is nesting in its nest, hidden among the green leaves.

Sparrows primarily feed on grains such as rice, corn, and wild grasses. Because of this habit, sparrows are often considered pests by farmers. However, their presence also helps maintain the balance of the ecosystem by preying on weed seeds and small insects.

The sparrow in the photo above reminds us that beauty lies beyond large, colorful birds. In its simplicity, the sparrow holds a message of perseverance, loyalty, and the meaning of living together.

That's all I can share on this occasion. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you.
