PhotoFeed Contest - Street Photography Round 126 ~ Resilient Faces at Beureunun City Week Day
Hello....
In the PhotoFeed Contest - Street Photography Round 126 which is regularly held by @Photofeed, I tried to share photos of the tough faces on a weekend in the city of Beureunun. On a busy weekend in the city of Beureunun, two middle-aged women were seen sitting kneeling on the side of the road selling their wares with great patience. Dressed in simple Muslim clothing, they sold bottles containing pure coconut oil and frankincense oil neatly arranged on a piece of white cloth.
The atmosphere at the Beureunun morning market is lively and colorful. In the background, a coffee shop and a partially closed shophouse indicate the early morning hours and the beginning of market activity. Two small children sit not far from the vendors, part of a typical weekend routine for many vendor families. Although simple, this atmosphere is filled with warmth, mutual cooperation, and the spirit of the local community.
Vendors like these are the tireless pulse of the local economy. With little capital and great enthusiasm, they are a vital part of Beureunun's social and cultural life. They not only sell goods but also maintain culinary traditions and a lifestyle that has been passed down through generations. Each bottle sold is handmade, reflecting their perseverance and sincerity.
Weekdays are not just about buying and selling but also a time for community gatherings and interactions. This is where stories of life unfold in meaningful simplicity. From the laughter of children, the friendly smiles of vendors, to the bustle of shoppers coming from various villages, all create a harmonious portrait amidst the market activity. The city of Beureunun, in its simplicity, holds many stories from resilient faces like the two women in this picture.
That's all I can share for now. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you very much for reading this post. Thank you!
