PhotoFeed Contest - Portrait Photography Round 126 ~ A Farmer's Steps

In the PhotoFeed - Portrait Photography Contest Round 126 held by @photofeed, I tried to share a photo of a farmer walking on a rice field embankment carrying a bundle of wooden twigs which I titled the steps of a farmer. The photo I shared shows a farmer walking on a wet and muddy rice field embankment. On his shoulders he carried a bundle of dry wooden twigs and a blue plastic bag that appeared to contain garden produce or simple tools. His appearance reflects a rural life full of hard work and simplicity with simple clothes and bare feet dirty with rice field mud.

The photo's background depicts red-roofed houses in the distance, suggesting the village is situated in a fertile and pristine agricultural region. The green landscape and pools of water in the rice paddies indicate a new planting season or ongoing agricultural activity. The man's presence in this environment reflects the crucial role of farmers in maintaining local food security.

This photo not only captures a farmer's hard work but also embodies the values of perseverance, patience, and the close relationship between humans and nature. In its simplicity, village life demonstrates the balance between effort and nature, as well as gratitude for every drop of sweat shed for daily life.
