Hello....

In the PhotoFeed Portrait Photography Contest Round 137 hosted by @photofeed, I shared a photo about transporting harvested crops. The photo I shared depicts the atmosphere of the rice harvest in the vast, golden green expanse of rice fields in Meureudu, Pidie Jaya. A farmer enthusiastically carries a sack filled with harvested crops on his shoulders. His steps are steady even though the load he carries looks heavy. Behind him, several other farmers are seen doing the same, shoulder to shoulder transporting the crops that are the source of life.

This activity of transporting harvested crops is not merely a routine, but a reflection of hard work and perseverance. Every grain of rice carried is the result of a long process: planting, tending, and finally, harvesting. Beneath the flowing sweat lies gratitude and pride as months of hard work have finally paid off.

The sight of yellowing rice paddies against a backdrop of mountains and a cloudy blue sky adds to the sense of harmony between humans and nature. Farmers are not only working, but also maintaining the continuity of agrarian traditions that have been passed down through generations.

Handling the harvest manually with one's own strength demonstrates the strong bond between humans and the land they cultivate. Despite the increasingly modern era, the values of togetherness and the spirit of mutual cooperation remain alive in farming communities.

This photo serves as a reminder that every grain of rice served on the dinner table is the fruit of the hard work of farmers. Without them, the food chain would not function. Therefore, appreciation and support for farmers are crucial for the nation's food security.

That concludes my post for this time. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you.
