A Charming View of Manthokha Waterfall Resort
Hello guys. Today I will share with you a very beautiful and the largest waterfall in Pakistan, which is called Manthokha Waterfall as I mentioned in the title. It is about 120 kilometers from Skardu, a big city in Gilgit-Baltistan, and it is located in the Kharmang Valley.
We left Skardu after breakfast at around 9 am to visit this beautiful waterfall because the journey was quite long but it was not tiring at all because we saw beautiful and big mountains all the way as you can see in the picture below. The weather was quite nice, with white clouds scattered across the blue sky, and in this beautiful weather, the view of the mountains was also spectacular from the bus.
Above you can see that there is a label before this waterfall which says Manthokha Waterfall Resort and the ticket price for one person to enter from here was 300 rupees. Below you can see my friend Mehar he asked me to take a picture of him because he had bought a new glasses on the way which cost 150 which he is wearing and I took a beautiful picture of him when he got down from the bus.
We also saw ducks in the flowing water, which was white and quite beautiful. The water was so transparent that the stones were visible. A bank of stones was made on both sides of the spring and an iron net was placed on it so that the stones could not move from their place and the bank would not break because if the bank breaks, there could be a lot of destruction here. This flowing river in the middle of the mountains is a beautiful gift of nature.
I have cherries in my hand which was not fully ripe but was quite tasty. We bought it from an orchard on the way and we got it quite cheap there. My friend Mehr bought it and all of us in the bus ate it. When we reached there, we washed them in the cold and clean flowing water and enjoyed them. Seeing them makes my mouth water and I want to eat such fresh cherries again.
In the picture below, you can see that all my friends are discussing about taking a bath in this waterfall. The water was very cold but still we all wanted to take a bath in it.
This is also a friend of mine who became our friend during the trip. He was the smartest of us all so we all made him the admin and did a lot of fun with him. It was quite nice he didn't mind at all because we had asked him earlier if we could joke with you to make the tour more enjoyable so he said no problem. You can see me in the picture below I sat in front of the waterfall and took pictures and these pictures of me were taken by Kazim with his mobile and the result is quite good as you can see from the pictures.
The entrance to this waterfall was on the opposite side of the waterfall and to get close to the waterfall you have to cross a spring and for this they have made a bridge with wooden planks and iron wires which is very beautiful. It shakes while walking and it is quite enjoyable. People stand on this bridge and make pictures like I drew for admin and you can also see the view of the waterfall from the back.
There was also a zip line here but we did not try it because zip lines here were quite expensive and we had to go according to our budget. The speed of the water was quite fast and it was also quite cold and transparent.
I really like this picture of me standing under the waterfall and Hamza took it with Kazim's mobile. I had my arms up in the air and this moment is very beautiful for me. I was feeling very good standing there. Water droplets were falling on me and in the picture you can see that the water looks like a spider web.
In the picture below you can see many people busy taking pictures and videos near the waterfall. I did aside politely some peoples to take my picture but they didn't mind because everyone here is a tourist and they treat each other well.
This beautiful pond is built in front of the waterfall so that people can also swim here, but not everyone can stay in this water for more than 10 seconds because the water was extremely cold. We did not take any pictures while bathing because before bathing we put all our mobile phones in a bag so that water does not get into them and gave all the mobile phones to our driver.
Immediately after bathing, we changed clothes and left from here because it was very cold. The weather was quite cold and after bathing in this water, our health could have deteriorated, but we enjoyed bathing a lot.
We spent about two hours at this beautiful waterfall and left at 3 pm because the return journey was quite long. On the way, we saw more beautiful mountains with snow-capped peaks and flowing springs. Skardu and Hunza in Gilgit-Baltistan are very beautiful cities and these cities are no less than a paradise. I hope you liked the beauty of this waterfall that I captured. Don't forget to give your feedback about this waterfall in my comment section, I will be waiting for your comments.

There has been flooding in these areas right now and I would recommend that you do not visit the mountainous areas during the rainy season, as it can be dangerous.
