Wednesday Walking a Gravel Road in Iowa
For this week's #wednesdaywalk, as hosted by @tattoo-djay , I wanted to share a recent walk I made along an Iowa gravel road. How did I get there? Well, I managed to get a free day and wanted some photos of the foliage in the area. I took a turn to follow a sign to some public land; however, I never found the public land. Instead, I walked up and down a gravel road to take in the sights atop an Iowan bluff.
The wind was fierce that day. Add to that a full-on drought that we've been dealing with the past few months, and the sand was flying around. It was on the car, in my hair, on my clothes, and in my eyes. The things we do for our photo walks, eh?
It wasn't all scenic views of the area. I also managed to photograph a few structures, here and there. It is Iowa, after all!
This walk really had me thinking on the drive back to Wisconsin. I should really just drive somewhere, randomly, whenever I can. Then park the car, grab my camera, and start taking photos. You never know what you will run into or what you will see.
Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, or otherwise...surprises lurk around every corner when you get yourself lost either intentionally or unintentionally. It's a real adventure, you know??
Thanks for checking out my #wednesdaywalk post again! I hope everyone had a better Wednesday than me! On to the next day...

When I saw your photo, I thought of the locations and scenes in the psychopath genre films 😁😁But honestly I always like quiet and quiet places.🌹🌹❤
