A Sublime April Snowstorm

My (long overdue) #sublimesunday share, as inspired by @c0ff33a. Is it spring here in Wisconsin yet? I mean, it's almost May...yet, here we be, lots of April snow. Yeah, winter won't leave just yet, but there is something sublime to it all, right?

It all started innocent enough...mild temperatures and lots of rain. Then, in April's wise assessment, she turned the temperature down, and the rain became coin sized flakes.

It's all fun and games until you have to shovel it...I keep meaning to purchase a snowblower, but I never do. So instead, I move it the old fashioned way with a shovel and then complain about it. Hey, I blame my dad for teaching me these things!

An April rain storm that ended with over a foot of snow. What's not to like about that? Wisconsin typically has all four seasons, but the past few years, we seem to blow through spring, and go from winter to summer in the matter of a few months. Will this year be any different? Hey, we'll find out...and maybe a few more Hive shares will come of it?

Thanks for reading my long overdue #sublimesunday post! Hoping everyone had a wonderful Sunday too this weekend.

Man. Up north here, we are used to winters. Still, with as long as they are, don’t they seem that much longer when the last snows surprise us?

It has been a couple weeks since our last snow and that is only because the cold nights disnt happen to have preciptitation.

Heres too a sudden arrival of spring so we can post some green #sublimsunday posts.

Yeah I can't wait for a green #sublimesunday post. Everything is slow to turn green this year...I was looking at last year's april photos and we're no where near to that right now in the woods and forests.
