a monolith on another dreary day
Sunshine continues to evade us over here in Wisconsin. The temperatures were half way decent today, so we took a small family adventure over to one of our favorites, Goose Island County Park near La Crosse. There were some eagles I managed to get with the Canon that I'll share later on, but this one was a fun lone image to snap with my Pixel 7 Pro. It reminded me of the famous monolith, from 2001...not quite as transcending, but it me made me appreciate the day a bit!

That's a crazy looking place. I wonder if it was a forested area. Why is there only one lone big tree there? I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight just thinking about it.
