a male northern cardinal returns

My daughter and I bought a copper bird feeder two weeks ago, and decided to fill it up with feed that attracted blue jays, cardinals, woodpeckers, nuthatches...really anything other than pigeons. So far, so good! Our backyard seems to be a resource for our neighborhood cardinals, and Hattie and myself spend every morning with our binoculars, watching to see who will visit next.
