Miconboard!!! A platform for raw talent.
Hello everyone!!! We all been part of this amazing platform that is Hive and it has been amazing experience for us similarly there is another platform for our local talent is the miconboard where anyone can showcase there talent if they love doing poetry, singing, standup comedy, magic tricks.
A great thought all credits goes to my old school mates Shikhar Gautam and Sid Walia they are the main core of the Miconboard. The concept is talents just need to register and perform and this might be a great chance and a confidence booster for them which is very much needed as there are so many insecurities as you are young.
Now talking about what was my job here , Along with who is also a film maker and a amazing video editor we both had to cover the complete event with photographs and videos for social media and memories.
So if anyone of my photographer friend is interested or gets opportunities like these there are some tips which you can follow:
Know the schedule: Make sure you are aware of the timing and order of events in the show. This will help you anticipate the moments you want to capture.
Consider lighting: Depending on the venue and time of day, lighting can vary greatly. If possible, scout out the location ahead of time and plan for any lighting challenges.
Be respectful: Remember that you are a guest at the show, so be courteous to the performers and the audience. Avoid blocking people's view or getting in the way of the performers.
Capture the atmosphere: The atmosphere of the event is just as important as the performers themselves. Look for shots of the audience's reactions, the decor, and any other unique elements of the show.
Use a fast shutter speed: Depending on the type of photography you are doing, using a fast shutter speed can help you freeze the action and avoid any blurring.
Look for candid moments: Some of the best shots are often those that capture candid moments of the performers and audience. Keep your eyes open for these moments and be ready to snap a photo.
Be creative: Don't be afraid to experiment with different angles, perspectives, and techniques to create unique and interesting shots.
This very important to know as we have a responsibility so this might help you people when you go out for such shoots
The crowd covering becomes very important this these shots surprisingly looks great because of the people and there support to the new talent is really great as there will be immense pressure when all eyes are on you.
The crowd's support for the new artists can be reflected in their emotions. Look for shots of the audience's reactions, such as smiles, cheers, and applause. These emotions can help you capture the atmosphere of the event.
We also some games with crowd our host Shikhar took really snap out of the crowd and he is hilarious when he does it.
Overall the complete event was blockbuster this encouraging more and more talent to come together and now we are providing great opportunities and making a living from the talent.
