Un sábado de todo un poco [ESP- ENG]

Si haces de cada día un momento diferente, nunca te sentirás aburrido de lo que haces cada día. Disfrutar de lo que hacemos y levantarnos con buen ánimo es lo mejor de nuestros días.

If you make every day a different moment, you'll never feel bored with what you do every day. Enjoying what we do and waking up in a good mood is the best part of our days.

Después de un día de tormenta con rayos y centellas, una abundante lluvia producto del temporal número 29 vino un cielo despejado. De verdad fue un buen rato angustiante viendo las noticias y el cielo soltar el agua.

After a stormy day with lightning and thunder, abundant rain from storm number 29 gave way to clear skies. It was truly a stressful time watching the news and the sky pouring down rain.

Todavía con las aceras llenas de agua pero un cielo con un azul así de intenso comenzó nuestro sábado de trabajo. Al lado de donde trabajo se encuentra el grupo de empresas Zoom y Western Union casi todo los días encontrado una largo cola de personas esperando comprar dólares o esperando remesas. Se ha vuelto un negocio comprar allí y seguramente venderlos más caros. Todos los días encontramos los cuida puestos, pero también encontramos que nuestro portón se vuelve su cuarto de baño. Duermen allí esperando vender un puesto para entrar.

Our work Saturday began with the sidewalks still covered in rain, but with a sky that intensely blue. Next to where I work is the Zoom and Western Union group of companies. Almost every day, I find a long line of people waiting to buy dollars or wait for remittances. It's become a business to buy there and surely sell them for more. Every day we find the security guards, but we also find that our gate becomes their bathroom. They sleep there waiting to sell a spot to get in.

Todos los días un post y todos los días haciendo Power up, sé que no es mucho porque mis post no salen súper jugosos; pero a mi me vale el estar creciendo y aportando. Espero lograr el año completo sin ningún fallo, como ven he logrado 126 semanas completas y varios meses publicando sin fallar. De verdad es agotador si lo tomas como una carrera, pero si te divierte escribir será de las cosas mejores por lograr.

A post every day, and a Power Up every day. I know it's not much because my posts aren't super juicy; but for me, it's worth growing and contributing. I hope to make it through the whole year without a single miss; as you can see, I've managed 126 full weeks and several months of posting without fail. It's truly exhausting if you treat it like a race, but if you enjoy writing, it's one of the best things you can accomplish.

Mi consuegra va a viajar a España el próximo mes y mi hija me pidió una galletas Oreo nuevas que han salido sabor a guayaba, ya se las compre para enviárselas.

My mother-in-law is going to travel to Spain next month and my daughter asked me for some new guava-flavored Oreo cookies. I already bought them to send them to her.

Aunque en España hay mucha variedad de café, nada como el café venezolano debe ser por el aroma tan fuerte que el lleva consigo. A mi no me puede faltar café en la casa. Pero ha subido muchísimo de precio, nos tocará como muchas cosas comprar menos, porque dejarlo jamás.

Although there's a wide variety of coffee in Spain, nothing beats Venezuelan coffee, perhaps because of its strong aroma. I always have coffee in my house. But the price has risen dramatically; like many other things, we'll have to buy less, because we'll never give up.

Las mascotas y cuidadoras son las eternas vigilantes de nuestros días, junto con mis plantas me mantienen muy ocupada cada día. Malta la rottweiler es una mascota bastante tranquila pero vasta que alguien trate de darme la mano para saludarme a través del mostrador que se vuelve un monstruo que se lo quiere comer. En varias oportunidades lo ha hecho al principio pensamos que fue una coincidencia, ahora tengo cuidado a quien saludo porque se que ella esta atenta y le va a saltar.

Pets and their caregivers are the eternal guardians of our lives. Along with my plants, they keep me very busy every day. Malta the Rottweiler is a fairly calm pet, but when someone tries to shake my hand and greet me across the counter, she turns into a monster that wants to eat them. She's done this several times. At first, we thought it was a coincidence. Now, I'm careful who I greet because I know she's alert and about to jump on them.

Las fotos de mi hija y sus paseos por España junto a su esposo no pueden faltarme, se lleva a Wooki su perro, fueron a Buendía y me envía esos lugares tan especiales. Eso me hace buscar algo sobre la historia del lugar.

La Ruta de las Caras es una ruta turística con acceso libre, ubicada en las afueras del municipio de Buendía, Cuenca, España. Conocida como las Caras de Buendía. Encontré que fueron esculpidas alrededor de los años 92, los artistas más destacados Eulogio Reguillo y Jorge J. Maldonado.

Disfruto sus paseos como si estuviera de la mano con ellos. Con cada fotografía reconozco el valor de cuidar lo que se tiene.

I can't miss the photos of my daughter and her walks through Spain with her husband. She takes her dog Wooki with her. They went to Buendía, and she sends me those special places. That makes me look for something about the history of the place.

The Route of Faces is a free-access tourist route located on the outskirts of the municipality of Buendía, Cuenca, Spain. Known as the Faces of Buendía, I discovered they were sculpted around 1992 by the prominent artists Eulogio Reguillo and Jorge J. Maldonado.

I enjoy their walks as if I were holding their hands. With each photograph, I recognize the value of caring for what we have.
