La quema de Judas 2024

Una tradición que me gusta acompañar a mis vecinos en la urbanización, se realiza una vez al año, en el último domingo de la semana mayor o semana Santa, el domingo de resurrección.

Allí con una preparación de varios días, se recoge ropa donada y algunos materiales para construir el muñeco que resultara el personaje a someterlo a juicio.

Toda la actividad se realizó en el parque Andrés Bello en la ciudad de Barcelona, estado Anzoátegui, Venezuela.

A tradition that I like to accompany my neighbors in the urbanization, is carried out once a year, on the last Sunday of the Holy Week or Holy Week, Easter Sunday.

Esta es una actividad que se realiza todos los años y en muchas partes de Venezuela, como una forma de expresión y reclamo a las autoridades que no cumplen sus obligaciones.

Se lee los cargos por los que es imputado el personaje, todas las actividades en onde ha incumplido con el pueblo. Y las personas allí presentes con su voto indican si lo sentencia a ser quemado.

Allí celebran la sentencia final quemar el susodicho personaje por sus fallas para el pueblo, su falta de cumplimiento de sus deberes.
Los niños también nos acompañan en la actividad y aprenden una tradición de muchos años.

Este año no se le colocaron triqui traquis adentro, por seguridad de los presentes, aunque estos sonidos hacen la delicia de los presentes.
