Yesterday, when I was about to do it, the power went out three times, which meant an entire afternoon without electricity. Any Venezuelan knows how exhausting that can be.

But hey, we're not here to complain, but rather to try to catch up, express our gratitude for the lovely invitations, and contribute our bit to this wonderful initiative, because I loved the topic.

Pero bueno no venimos a quejarnos por aquí, sino a tratar de ponernos al día, agradecer esas hermosas invitaciones y aportar un granito de arena a la iniciativa tan bonita, porque el tema me ha encantado.

Our pets, Allie and Malta, accompany us to work every day. They're our faithful caretakers; I couldn't leave them out of my daily routine. I enjoy their company and my garden.
