A beautiful structure that I truly hopes gets revived so the modern soulless one gets demolished
Sounds like something that would cost money that is better spent lining people's pockets so good luck with that.
I am not snarky at all today, not even a little bit
I think if there's no "no camera" signs you're probably fine? Even if it's an airport.
and now I have to try and remember to double check the airport here to see if they have no photography signs as I can't remember off the top of my head
Take that camera with you everywhere you go, even if you don't expect to take anything
Why do people cop such flak just because they do this with their phones XD
Although having said that I do remember copping some flak back in the day when there were a few of us (out of a parenting group) that carried cameras (in the days before phone cameras were decent) for that very reason, and other parents were disdainful because we weren't purely "experiencing the moment" in all its full glory (I don't think they liked that people experience things differently from them).
I do think I became more empathetic once the camera became a more integral thing in my day to day life
The tone shift in your writing over time seems to indicate so.

Yeah I read a few initiatives that were planned to save it. Those were a few years ago though and I don't think there's been anything since. It's a tragedy. Look up the old Zvartnots airport to really see it. It's beautiful.
Yeah I did have a look and didn't see anything, but Armenia's not really the type to make things clear in that regard.
Yeah I have no idea. I've seen a lot of things online where people try to actually encourage less carrying of the camera around. But I don't know, I feel that there's so many opportunities to take pictures every day, even if I am heading somewhere, commutes are a perfect time for it. Walking to stations, at stations, grabbing coffee. I just never feel like I don't have time or want to do it, and the more I do it the happier I feel. And more aware of the world around me, which is a major part. I do feel more connected with the world as a result of photography.
Oh this is super interesting to me. Do you have any sort of idea when you first noticed it?
You're apparently supposed to fully immerse yourself and feel all those feels and see all the sees (or something, I haven't figured out what yet, guess I'm just not enlightened enough) instead of just "distracting" yourself trying to find a picture to take. It was very hard to get them to understand that sometimes you're looking harder at something and appreciating it more precisely because you're looking for that picture to take.
What I was still learning at that time was that some people seem to think that their opinion can be the only correct one.
I can't tell you off the top of my head when I first consciously registered it as it was over a period of posts. I am going to hesitantly venture that it started at some point when you started using the drones regularly.
