Photoshoot at the Sanctuary of Truth: the magic of light and shadow 🏯🌴

(Edited)

As I wrote in my previous post, we chose two locations for the photoshoot. Yesterday I shared black and white photos from the park, and today I will show color photos taken on the shore near the Sanctuary of Truth.

A little history:

A short excerpt from Wikipedia:

The Sanctuary of Truth is a unique wooden temple in Pattaya, located on the shore of the Gulf of Thailand and surrounded by a picturesque park. Its construction began in 1981 on the initiative of Thai businessman Lek Viriyapan and is still ongoing. Completion of the work is planned for 2025.

This temple is created using ancient technologies of Thai wooden architecture: every centimeter of its surface is covered with exquisite carvings depicting mythological and religious scenes from Cambodia, China, India and Thailand. The main idea is to convey ancient wisdom, philosophy and cultural heritage through art.

About the photo shoot:

As last time, the weather conditions were not the most favorable - thick clouds, overcast skies, muted colors. It is not easy to take pictures in such conditions, as the natural contrast of the scene is reduced.

At the moment, I am most upset by the inability to upload photos with HDR support. In my Lightroom, the photos look great, but after exporting to JPEG, they lose depth and saturation. However, yesterday in correspondence with #ecency I received good news - the team is considering adding the JXL format! Let's hope that they will succeed.

Special thanks:

ial thanks:Thanks to my wife, who supports my passion for photography. I do not have to look for models, because she is always ready for shooting, has excellent physical fitness and understands what I want to capture in the frame.

As always, at the end of the post I will leave the best photos (in my opinion). If you have other favorites, write in the comments! I would be glad to hear your opinion.

I saw your discussion with ecency and it's really cool that they immediately worked to implement some suggestions, especially increased filesizes. A lot of what stops me from uploading photography these days tends to be the fact that the exports are higher than the limits with Peakd. The same thing happens with film screenshots too if they're 4k.

I think if they implement this it will be a big leap forward for ecency and for us!

Yeah I'd definitely start using Ecency in that case. I've been tempted to in the past but I've been so used to Peakd that I haven't had much reason to switch. That might be it!

@namiks I'm the same! I am so used to PeakD it's almost a bit foreign when I have to hop over to Ecency. Many times I have had to import the photo address from there to plug into the curations and that's a beast to have to do.

@russia-btc First off, you have a beautiful wife! Secondly, you have taken and been sharing some excellent photographs. I am glad you have a model you can work with that shares your passion and that suits you for your opportunity to develop your photo skills. Honestly, it's more of honing them since you seem to have some raw talent.

I even had a smile on my face )) - a very nice comment (you rarely hear something like that) I am doubly happy today - from your comment and from the new purchase! Thank you very much!

I've been noticing your posts and i remembered your comment that your shots were probably among the worst in the group if remember correctly. I didn't agree but don't have much time to comment as I am trying to catch myself up from 3 weeks behind. I have had my eye out daily and your progress has been tremendous. So, I wasn't just blowing smoke up your ass. I meant what I said and when you see the curation catchup posts you will know what I mean. Cheers

The ocean view is unbelievable. Taking pictures close to the sanctuary is unbelievable. Look at that bokeh view on the 6th picture. The subject separation is stunning. Wow.

Thanks bro) - this is not my merit) - this is the merit of the new lens that I recently acquired. On a sunny day it would be 10 times cooler. Soon there will be a post from the island and you will see how this lens works wonders! Thanks for stopping by

2.5k$ I think it's a very worthy investment of you ask me, I didn't even know that you unboxxed the camera a while back. I think think you'll be making a lot of memories with this one.
