Experiments with a camera in a Thai park: a son, a butterfly and Hive
Hello everyone!!!
Today's post is just light notes without any pretensions to deep meaning or artistic masterpieces. I want to share photos taken in Thailand during a walk in the park, when I wanted to experiment with the camera. My wife was already tired of posing for my photo shoots, so this time my son, my most energetic and unpredictable subject, got into the frame!
I must admit right away: 98% of the photos, as usual, went to the "trash". I was just mastering the camera then, and I am still learning, understanding its endless settings. Some of the shots turned out so simple that I decided to convert them to black and white format - this way they look more atmospheric, although there is nothing outstanding about them. But I still want to save these moments here, on Hive, as part of our Thai adventure.

One photo is especially dear to me - a photo of my son against the background of bright colored boards. We both fell in love with these colors right away, and I was determined to keep this shot in color. It turned out pretty cute, I think! My son was full of energy as always, running around the park, and I was trying to capture him in my lens before he ran off after another lizard or butterfly.
Speaking of butterflies, at the end of my walk I noticed one gracefully sitting on a leaf. It was the final touch of the day, and I couldn't help but capture it. This shot is my favorite, and I specifically saved it for the end of the post.

This post is also my little experiment on Hive. Recently @dalz shared his observations about when people post and vote more often. I usually post my notes at the same time, but today I decided to test how posting at an unusual time would work. I wonder if this will affect the response? If you are an active Hive user, share when you usually post or read posts - I'm curious to know!
This day in the park was simple but warm: my son, bright boards, a butterfly and my attempts to capture the moment. I hope these photos convey at least a part of that atmosphere. Do you like to experiment with photography?
Share in the comments - I'm always interested to hear your stories!
I write my texts myself, correct mistakes and translate via ChatGPT (which is not a violation on Hive)!
All photos were taken by me personally - I am a beginner photographer, so I ask professionals not to judge strictly.
Thank you for sharing these moments with me! Until new stories and new holidays!
