Auto adventure in Nong Nooch: from Lotus to retro

Today I want to share my impressions of visiting Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden in Thailand - a huge park, where thousands of exotic plants, sculptures and even an elephant show are collected. But in this post I will focus on one of its pearls - the unique car park of Kampon Tansachak, a famous Thai car collector. Let me say right away: all the photos were taken on the phone, since at that time I did not have a camera yet. But even without professional equipment, these cars are impressive!

Located in the heart of a tropical garden, the car park occupies two floors of a specialized parking lot. This is not just a garage, but a real modern museum, where more than 100 exclusive cars are collected, each of which is a work of art. Many of the cars have the inscription "AI BAAN NAWK" on them, which translates from Thai as "I am an ordinary village boy" or "The first guy in the village." This phrase adds charm to the collection: Kampon Tansachak, despite his wealth, emphasizes his roots.

The collection includes dream cars: BMW, Lotus, Ford, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Mini, Cadillac, Nissan and many others. Some models look so rare that I suspect they exist in a single copy. To be honest, I am not an expert in cars, and many of them are a mystery to me. But even without deep knowledge, I could not take my eyes off their shiny bodies and graceful lines. Any guy who finds himself here will feel like a millionaire, imagining that all this luxury belongs to him. I dream of driving at least one of these beauties to understand the difference between, say, a Lotus and a Cadillac.

While we were wandering around the halls, I noticed something unexpected: cats lazily lounging on tables among the cars. Why they were allowed there remains a mystery, but they added coziness to the car park. And next to the cats, I found old gas stations - so stylish that they themselves are worthy of a separate photo shoot! Their retro charm perfectly matched the modern cars, and I regretted that I only had a phone.

I hope the photos convey the atmosphere of this amazing place, where the luxury of cars coexists with tropical greenery and Thai flavor.
