A Scenic Road Trip from Samsun to Antalya 🚗🇹🇷

Our road trip from Samsun to Antalya was a wonderful journey across some of Türkiye's most beautiful landscapes. Leaving the cool Black Sea coast behind, we enjoyed peaceful countryside views and long stretches of open roads.

📍 Çorum

Our first major stop was Çorum, surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. The weather was cool and pleasant, making the drive relaxing. Çorum is also famous throughout Türkiye for its delicious leblebi (roasted chickpeas). We couldn't pass through without picking up some of this popular local snack, which made a perfect treat for the rest of the journey.

📍 Ankara

Continuing south, we reached Ankara, Türkiye's capital. The scenery became more urban, and the temperature started to rise. The bright sunshine and busy city streets created a completely different atmosphere from the Black Sea region.

📍 Afyonkarahisar

As we passed through Afyonkarahisar, the landscape changed once again. The surrounding mountains were dotted with large wind turbines, quietly generating clean electricity. Seeing dozens of these giant windmills turning together against the mountain backdrop was one of the most impressive sights of the journey. The weather also became warmer and windier, making this part of the drive feel unique.
📍 On the Road to Antalya

As we drove further toward the Mediterranean, the landscape changed once again. Mountains, forests, and winding roads offered breathtaking views. The weather became noticeably warmer, and by the time we arrived in Antalya, we were welcomed by clear blue skies, bright sunshine, and the refreshing Mediterranean air.

This road trip showed just how diverse Türkiye is, from the green northern coast to the warm southern beaches. Every kilometre brought new scenery, different weather, and unforgettable memories.
