What's in the Treasure Box? A Collection of- Surprise!

Are you a fan of jewelry and branded watches? If so, what's the most expensive piece of jewelry or watch that you have? A necklace from TIFFANY & CO? Or a ring from CARTIER? Or maybe earrings from BVLGARI? How about Rolex or Cartier for a watch? Whoa, if you have one of those, then SANA ALL! Hope all! I can't afford that, so I will never get the chance to own one. Though it is a different matter if someone will give me any one of those, lol. But who's that crazy person who will do that for me no? Lol.

Last week, my oldies were busy in the store, as usual. Well, not really that busy because, unfortunately, there aren't that many customers. I am actually laughing with Mama while we're having a walk outside, because we feel like people in our place are not that fond of going outside anymore and will just buy online to get their necessities. We are talking like this while going to the market, so it's like our bonding time too.

We just noticed that there are no people going outside anymore, unlike before. It's like people just vanished, but I know that this is not the case. It's just that the life here is so slow, there aren't many happenings, and you know, some people always look for something new and fun. We do have that fun activity but that's was during those big and important events for our town which doesn't happen all the time. So maybe, just maybe they end up deciding to move on to a much bigger city to look for that, and at the same time to look for a job.

We can't really blame them the bigger the city that you are living in, the bigger the opportunity is, unlike here. Then, with those fun places that exist in there, that's the bonus. But well, whatever. I still plan to stay here in our province, so having a few people in this town is actually in my favor. So, so long, Minna! Lol.

Alright, going back to the real thing. This man riding a motorcycle stopped by Mommy D's store to get a soda. And while drinking it, the man spoke, asking if my oldies had a broken ring, necklace, watch, or any jewelry. They are buying it at a good price. Mom, check it first, and he's real. They were able to sell their broken jewelry to that man at a good price. Mommy D got $109.97 for her broken rings and bracelet, while Mommy F got $54.99 for hers.

The man is really good too, you can tell from the way he speaks that he is a kind and honest man. That's why they instantly liked the man. That's a rare occurrence because my Oldies don't trust just anyone, lol, in fact, they are a little snobbish, or you know that, especially my Mommy D. So yeah, that's how they started. Then the man said, My oldies can call him if ever they find broken jewelry again in their treasure chest, lol. That's why Mom looked for it, she even asked her sister to bring those jewelry she has, which she did. She open up their treasure box again, lol.

Let's start with this Seiko watch. It is actually from my mom's Dad. She said it was a Saudi watch. Seriously, it looks manly, she's wearing this right now, though. It is still functioning, so instead of selling it, she will just wear it. I am not sure, though, if it is the real thing. How do we even know if it's real? There are a lot of imitations of this everywhere, at the cheapest price. But maybe this is real, I don't know. To be honest, this is the kind of watch I want to gift to my Mom on her birthday, not the cheap $3 watch that I got on sale. I hope I can give something like this to my mom someday.

Let's move on to this Rado Watch, what do you think? Imitation or the real thing? She's planning to ask for its price once that man visits here again. If they give her a good price, then she'll sell it. I tried to look for it on Google through Google Lens, but I'm still not sure. Let's just leave it there like that. Though I wish they could sell it for a good price. By the way, this is also from my mom's dad.

How about this one? It looks cool, though, and I love the front design. Simple, but they scream elegance. It will look good on someone wearing a suit. But if ever they discover that this is not the real one, they still get to use it for a long time. It doesn't matter whether it is fake or real, what's important is that they can use it, and the clock works well. But the only bad thing is that they cannot sell it for a higher price. That'll be sad.

Now, down with the jewelry. I'm not sure if this design still exists today, but I find it unique. This was owned by Mommy D's late sister. As for the authenticity, I think it's just made of something, but definitely not real gold. I just like to share it here because I find it really pretty. At first, I couldn't understand its design, but after examining it for a minute, I finally got it. It is too big for me and for my mom, so this will just stay in her "treasure box."

Another one that I find unique but pretty is this. I'm laughing on this one because I can't figure out how she wears it. I mean, is this a clip for those who are afraid to put a hole in their ears? But, if it is, won't it easily fall if you walk? I'm not really sure how she wore it, but it looks cool. It is small too, just like what I prefer in my earrings, but I just don't know how to wear it.

Another one with a unique design, it's like a pearl, but this one is bigger, and it has a very unique shape. I can't figure this one out either. If it is a clip for ears or in a blouse, I am not so sure, lol. Mom tried putting it on her ears, but she said it was uncomfortable to wear. She also said, She's like carrying something on her ears, haha. She's not used to a heavy stuffs on her ears just like me. Why did they make it like this? I don't know the reason, but either way, it still looks pretty and elegant. And I think the owner of this only wears it occasionally.

I think most people really love watches and jewelry. Especially those made of gold. I mean, it's a good investment too, right? Unfortunately, I am not fond of them. The only jewelry I wore was my earrings; that's already enough for me. Although if someone gives some any of this to me, I will accept it wholeheartedly and gratefully, then hide it and put it in my treasure box.

But no doubt, jewelry and watches are the best gifts that you can give to anyone. My mom, for example, loves watches. On her birthday last year, I think in 2021, I gave her a watch, and till now she's taken care of it. Though the color was already faded. She just gives importance to those things that she receives, especially from us. She is the kind of person who will make you feel happy and excited to give her a gift because of how much she appreciates it.

I am still planning to give her another watch, but I want something that is really worth buying. I'm thinking of a smartwatch with a health monitor feature. I really hope this plan becomes a reality soon.
