Flowers are pretty, they can make anyone's day brighter with just the sight of them. Furthermore, receiving it from a special someone can make anyone jump in joy. If you give someone flowers, you don't have to speak further to get across what you want to say because giving them is like saying how important the person is, it will speak louder to anyone who received it.

Flowers are also like medicine for me. Just based on my experience, it can make me feel at ease whenever I am overthinking. Because you know, we can't avoid that overthinking sometimes. Good thing mother has this "Santan" here in the backyard, which I often visit whenever I feel suffocated to be in my room. I just can't remember the last time I smelled flowers. I really love the smell of "Ilang-Ilang" and "Sampaguita."

Here's the Santan we have in the backyard. It's really pretty, and it can make the surroundings more lively and colorful. It is the one thing in the backyard that I always love to capture using my phone, especially if it starts to bloom in full. Also, the sight of this can make me remember my childhood, which was fun and sad at the same time. It's a good thing Mother didn't cut this down, because if she did, our backyard would be as boring as me and colorless.

Now, with the question: when was the last time you got a gift of flowers, from whom, and for what occasion?

I never received a flower yet in my entire existence, from what I remember. And if you ask me what to choose between flowers and chocolate, I will definitely choose the latter. because unlike flowers, I can eat chocolate. Of course, flowers are pretty, and I also want to experience receiving that, even once, but I am not sure how I will feel if I ever receive one. Would I be happy? Excited? Or cringe? I think I'll feel cringe ( ꈍᴗꈍ).

But, to be honest, I also dream of receiving flowers from one of my crushes before. I even imagine him visiting me in the house with three red roses, but it's just all in my imagination. But even if it is just an imagination, just thinking about it is enough to make me happy. maybe because I really like the guy. I am also wondering if receiving flowers will really make me happy, just as I imagined, maybe it is just all in my head.
