Wednesday Walk At Sundown
Today I decided to explore a different side of tamale. I’ve been in tamale for a very long time but I can say I felt like a total stranger today(not that I don’t know already). Today’s own was just too much.
Considering how the weather in the north here is, I stay indoors all the time. Breathing in the early morning air is always something I don’t look up to considering how cold it is. When you step outside too it’s always foggy. Considering all these factors it’s always better to step out in the evenings when the sun has gone down.
Today I did that and boy did I love the way the weather was. Everywhere looked nice.
So I took a walk and took some pictures. Considering the level of my photography skills, I might just wanna praise myself this time around. Am not saying all the pictures look great but then I love some of them personally.

This is the first place I passed by. It’s a road which is mostly not busy. It’s not in town and it’s close to a senior high school. When you move forward you will see an international school.
While moving along the road I saw this bush which came as no surprise to me. What surprised me is that it has not yet been burned We always face this problem with people burning down grasses in the harmattan season. This is something we frown upon because of the hazard it comes with.

I think this is a car rental. Initially, I thought it was a garage but after looking at the pictures for a while and seeing the number of cars there I concluded that it was a car rental. What do you think? But as we can see there are only 5 cars. 3 pickups, a land cruiser and a Prado. If I am not mistaken all of these cars are used for embarking on journeys and stuff.

Previously it was quite easy to rent a car but now with the high cost of fuel, it’s quite difficult. When you rent a car you have to buy fuel and also some of them charge per hour. (I think all rentals charge per hour). The Land Cruiser I know takes a lot of fuel which is very expensive.

This is a special hospital. When we talk of special hospitals in Ghana it’s mostly very different from the treatment in a hospital. In these places the common problems we normally find there are natural problems which people want to avoid and end up going there. I’ve not been to one of these before but it’s rare to see one of these succeed. We have one in my area and it’s not doing too well.

As I was coming to the end of my walk I came across this beautiful house. I fell in love with it not just because of the size but because I think I fell in love with the colour combination as well.

It’s just by the road but not the main road. It has a mosque in it. Which means the owner is a Muslim. I don’t know if the mosque will be big enough to accommodate a lot of people though.

The sundown made the picture look more pleasing. I don’t know if you like it but I seem to like it a lot.
This is an entry to the Wednesday walk contest. Thanks for reading.
All Images are mine
“Your first picture, was that from around Nobisco? I haven’t been around there the past 4 years but I have this strange feeling I recognize the area”. I wrote this after seeing the first image. But after seeing the second picture, I don’t even need you to confirm that it is where ai thought anymore.🙂
Funny enough, I don’t recognize the hospital though. But I know that nice looking mosque is around Norrip junction, just close to the road. That gives me an idea of how long that walk was!
A suggestion for the sundown picture:)
If you reduce the brightness and exposure a bit, you would get an awesome sundown shot!
This was an interesting walk, man. It just made me realize how long it’s been since I’ve been around this area.
Yep buddy that’s around Nobisco. That’s their wall at the right side.
Actually the hospital is quite far from nobisco. You will have to take the Gariba lodge road to get there.
Thanks for the suggestion. My. Camera skills are not top notch. I just click and upload what is pleasing to my eyes😂. I have to try your idea and see how nice it will look.
The weather was lovely so it made the walk interesting.
Thanks for joining the Wednesday, I always love seeing all the walks shared from around the world, but as I am not getting out for as many walks at the moment because of feeling the cold I am especially loving the walks all around the world its like a virtual world tour
Yes the cold this season is something else. But luckily for us it gets better cause the son comes out.
Yes a sunny day is nicer even if it is a bit cold

I think I also need to start waking😂. After having walked my whole life (school to home and vice versa). I don’t really like waking again. I prefer to use my bike.

The mosque looks really nice. Is it inside the house or outside??
Yep it’s part of the house. The owner has made it look really beautiful.
