Ruben Cress | Sunset beams

S u m m a r y

If you're not used to living around in an area with mountains, one thing that you most probably will notice are these Sunset beams striking down near the edges of the mountains. These magic hours are really magic hours in the Swiss mountain-scapes. Truly mesmerizing to see mother nature drawing its shapes on a live canvas as the Sun sets. As I'm not a early bird, but rather a night's watch type of guy, I can't imagine how Sunrise must have looked like. Lol. I think I haven't witnessed many Sunrises in my life. Have you?

But if I think about Sunsets, I realize that it has something to do with all the dust-particles floating around, creating this "haze". So, then again, I hardly can imagine a Sunrise being more vibrant than a Sunset, as all these dust-particles aren't floating, but have set during the night. In exchange, you probably get a much more clearer picture with Sunrises. Either way, witnessing this for the first time in my life was like; dangggg, hold my beer, let me check this, because that's some stuff you don't see every day.

Kinda looks like layers doesn't it?

This shot kind of reminds me of photographs that has plenty of layers in it, but these are more or less beams, creating some sort of layers. Does any photographer on Hive know the difference between these layers/beams, or are they the same to you?

Cheers,
Ruben

I was checking out your image and before I ever read your part about layers at the bottom that is exactly what I thought. Great image!
