Off to the beach!

After breakfast, it was time to check out the beach. The weather was... perfect... Surprisingly, it wasn't that crowded on the beach, I expected it to be packed with people. In the Netherlands, when we have a "good Summer day", our beaches are packed. Like over-packed. Like little sausages ready to be canned. Together with Jim, another friend of my Uncle, who lived nearby, we went to the beach and shared some refreshing beverages. Of course, the stories continued, apparently, Jim is just as crazy as my uncle Addy xD.

The beach was nice, the wind was cool, and the Sun was a burning through my back. If I recall correctly, we went to two different beaches. One private beach, and one for the plebs, which I enjoyed much more as I am a peasant myself. I sometimes don't understand why people ought to think higher of themselves than others. Just don't. Like my grandma used to say: just be yourself, then you'll already crazy enough. She didn't lie. Anyway, the beach was very nice and I took some pictures. And if I was swimming, my uncle abused my telephoto lens and took very interesting pictures. LOL.

I mean, I don't hate people... but this kind of looks relaxing

How crowded are your beaches?

From the photos above, you can really tell it wasn't that crowded (like I was used to back home), and I am curious if this is also the case back at your place (if you have beaches of course). I expected a much more vibrant environment with lots of people talking, ANNOYING KIDS CRYING, and other (normal) people acting all funny and so on. How's your beach?

Cheers,
Ruben

Summer is the most awaiting day for some because it's beach and vacation time. However, in tropical country like ours, the Philippines. We never wished the summer to come cause its so hot, like reaching 40°C plus each day.

Nah! Beaches are not crowded here since we have plenty to pick. What's this beach called? It seems beautiful and perfect for vacation.

Ah, that makes a lot of sense indeed. It was 40+ degrees during my visit.
I believe it was called "Isle of Palms" or "Sullivan's Beach" or somewhere in that area of Charleston :)

In Israel the beaches are so crowded you can stage jump from your car to the water.

Greetings brother, I liked your beaches, I see them very nice quiet, there are not so many people and keep a good distance, that pleases me a lot, another thing I liked is the telephoto photography of birds, very good, it really is a good catch.

The beaches in Venezuela are a little more crowded, however I am talking about weekends, possibly during the week few people transmit these spaces, so you can spend a quieter day. Thank you very much for your post.

^ I removed ALL the people and stuff from the other photograph, just to see if I could pull this off, and just to see how a "empty" beach would look like. LOL

From Indian standards, your beach is empty bro. xD

Terrific pictures. Loved them!

Right! I mean, Dutch beaches used to be packed as well. But @kryptik told me I was at the wrong beach XD

Bro, you're at the wrong beach.

You need to go to the gulf side. The water is so much better. Check out Clearwater beach (near Tampa).

BUT even better, even though it's not a party atmosphere, check out Bahia Honda in the Florida Keys. It's literally the most beautiful beach I've been to in the US. Miami has plenty of action if you hit the clubs.

Oh dang! I didn't knew, next time better (I'm not much of a clubber though)! Do you live nearby this area? I think we had the plan to visit the Keys (can you also waterboard/jet-ski there?), but something came up and we went to The Tiki Hut @ Lake Keowee instead. Not a beach, but that was quite refreshing as well.

Very beautiful pictures that you have shown around the beach. I saw so many people on the beach,In my area also has crowds around the beach during holidays Of course I also really like being able to enjoy the beach atmosphere either in the afternoon or in the morning But most people visit it is in the afternoon.Thank you very much friends for giving us the best pictures.

Thank you @mnurhiver :) Nice, is it also crowded like this, or much more crowded?

Depends on the holidays friends. If there are many holidays, if not, holidays are a bit quiet.

Went to the beach today too at Gasparilla State Park on Boca Grande. This was the least crowded beach I've been to and it is exactly as you said, a "good Summer day". It felt like being on a private beach with only 8 other people at one in the afternoon.

I can't blamed the people , that's so beautiful one!
Our beaches are never crowded here because we have a lot to pick. So seeing 30-50 people ,I would most likely withdraw myself immediately. And going to a commercial area, I plan to go on weekdays then I could expect stillness and quietness.

I understand you. I hope people around me understand me too!😄

Haha, this is actually a photoshopped version of the photograph above :P
I couldn't agree more with you, the lesser the better, but I guess it also depends with who you're going to the beach, right? If you're going with many friends, the amount of people around you doesn't matter much. If you're just going with 2 or alone, then yes, the lesser the better!

Yes, you're absolutely right. Depending on whome you're with. 🙂

Seeing your post came like a deep breath of fresh air thinking that on Monday I'll be off to a beach too! Been waiting for this moment for years ❤️

Inhale, Exhale. If I had a beach around the corner, I probably would go there when the Sun has set to enjoy the sound of the waves. But hold up... you've been waiting for years!? Whatttt, how come?

Just the thing that I live too far from the beach and when I had time for travel, I was always hiking the mountains. Time passed so fast!

The mountains are awesome as well! Better than beaches IMO :))
