New Portraits | Nick Drenth
Hey folks! 🎉
What's better than to kick off the new year with some portrait photography? On January 2nd, yours truly got his first assignment from his old employer and hit the frosty streets of Enschede for the first photo shoot of 2025. Wirelab needed some fresh snaps of their latest team wizard, a Nick Drenth, a digital marketeer.
We spent about an hour walking around the familiar streets and hidden gems of Enschede, capturing the city in a subtle way without losing focus on Nick.
And the new guy? He was a natural! Despite fighting the cold, he surely made sure to make it look like he has done this plenty of times. I made this concept when I was working at Wirelab, I thought it would be awesome to put Enschede and people in a photograph together.
The shoot took about an hour, and by the end of it, we were a bit frozen yet very happy with the results. The digital marketer was very happy with the photographs, and honestly, so was I. So here's to new beginnings, to old connections, and to making 2025 the year of 'vette content' and quick shots!

Thanks Mick! I liked that one too, it was his least favorite though, because he went to school in that building :P
yeah not everytone has great memories of school i get that :)
Great shots and he looks so relaxed. Environmental portraits are much more fun than studio based ones in my opinion!
I agree! It's just the cold Dutch weather that sucks sometimes :P I'm working on some studio lighting techniques as we speak though :p
I like the lighting of the orange one with the glass and the last one with the bricks is also a very nice one. Great shoot.
