Sunset in Zadar

Hello everyone!

While in Croatia, we spent a few days in Zadar. We decided to head to the waterfront one evening to watch the sunset. It wasn't quite what I had imagined. Firstly, there were too many clouds, and secondly, we were a few minutes late arriving at our destination (the Old Town). Below are six photos from the harbor with clouds, and six taken on the edge of the Old Town.

Witam wszystkich!

Będąc w Chorwacji przez kilka dni nocowaliśmy w Zadarze. Postanowiliśmy, że jednego wieczoru wybierzemy się na nabrzeże obserwować zachód słońca. Nie do końca było tak jak sobie to wyobrażałem. Po pierwsze było za dużo chmur, po drugie mieliśmy kilkuminutowe spóźnienie w docelowym miejscu (stare miasto). Poniżej sześć zdjęć z portu z chmurami oraz sześć zdjęć zrobionych na skraju starego miasta.

Despite heavy clouds, the sun did not give up and illuminated part of the port.

Mimo ciężkich chmur, słońce nie dało za wygraną i oświetliło część portu.

There was already a crowd of people on the old town quay who had the same idea for the evening.

Na nabrzeżu starego miasta był już tłum ludzi, który miał taki sam pomysł na wieczór.

Widok na wyspę naprzeciwko Zadaru. Niebo po zachodzie słońca zrobiło się fioletowe.

An additional attraction in the Old Town is the Sun Monument ("Pozdrav suncu"), composed of solar panels. In the evening, after sunset, these panels glow, creating a colorful image. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture this effect in a photo.

Dodatkowa atrakcja starego miasta, czyli pomnik słońca ("Pozdrav suncu") złożony z paneli słonecznych. Wieczorem po zachodzie słońca te panele świecą i tworzą kolorowy obraz. Niestety nie udało mi się uchwycić tego efektu na zdjęciu.
