Photo Trip | Italy - Three Squares in Old Venice

As we stroll through the narrow streets of old Venice, every now and then we come upon a square, large or small. In some ways, they’re all similar. There’s a church near almost every square, and you’ll find various bars and restaurants there. They’re all surrounded by old buildings, many of which are in need of renovation. Fortunately, not all of them are crowded, so I took a few souvenir photos at several of them.

Spacerując wąskimi uliczkami starej Wenecji co jakiś czas znajdziemy się na mniejszym lub większym placu. Pod pewnymi względami są do siebie podobne. Niemal przy każdym placu znajduje się kościół oraz znajdziemy na nich różne bary i restauracje. Wszystkie otoczone są starymi budynkami, często wymagającymi renowacji. Na szczęście nie wszystkie są pełne ludzi, dlatego na kilku z nich wykonałem kilka pamiątkowych zdjęć.

"Campo Bandiera e Moro" Square is located near the Arsenale di Venezia shipyard. It is in the eastern part of the old town. Historic old wells are another common feature of these squares.

In places like this, away from the crowds, you can stop for a moment and relax, especially on a hot day. That’s exactly what we did in this square, sipping a cold Spritz while we were there.

W takich miejscach bez tłumów można na chwilę się zatrzymać i odpocząć, zwłaszcza w upalny dzień. My też tak zrobiliśmy na tym placu przy okazji wypijając zimnego Spritza.

Campo Sant'Angelo, also known as "Campo Sant'Anzolo." The Santo Stefano Bell Tower stands out in the photo above. The square has an irregular shape and is larger than the previous one.

Plac Świętego Anioła "Campo Sant'Angelo", zwany również "Campo Sant'Anzolo". Na powyższym zdjęciu wyróżnia się Dzwonnica Santo Stefano. Plac ma nieregularny kształt i jest większy od poprzedniego.

St. Stephen's Square ("Campo Santo Stefano") is the largest of today's squares, although I took only two photos there. It is located less than 100 meters from the previous square, and the Church of Santo Stefano stands between them.

Plac Świętego Stefana "Campo Santo Stefano" to największy z dzisiejszych placów, chociaż wykonałem tam zaledwie dwa ujęcia. Znajduje się niecałe 100 m od poprzedniego placu, a pomiędzy nimi znajduje się Kościół Santo Stefano.
