Architecture of the Vltava embankment in Prague

avatar

Hello everyone!

In today's post, in a few photos, I present the last kilometer of the walk to the last tourist attraction that my friends and I wanted to see in the capital of the Czech Republic. The route of our walk ran south from the Old Town to the New Town, along the Vltava River, along Masarykovo nábř. Street. There is a lot of old architecture in both of these districts, so it was a very visually pleasing walk.

Witam wszystkich!

W dzisiejszym poście na kilku zdjęciach przedstawiam ostatni kilometr spaceru do ostatniej atrakcji turystycznej, którą razem z kolegami chcieliśmy obejrzeć w stolicy Czech.

Just the last two glances back at Charles Bridge and Prague Castle and we move on.

Before us is a view of the Masarykovo nábř. street mentioned in the introduction and a large number of walkers.

Przed nami widok na wspomnianą we wstępie ulicę Masarykovo nábř. oraz sporą liczbę spacerowiczów.

As you can see in the pictures, there are old tenement houses in front of us on the left.

Every now and then we passed the beautiful facades of these tenement houses, which caught my eye and slowed down my walk.

Co chwilę mijaliśmy przepiękne fasady tych kamienic, które przykuwały wzrok i spowalniały mój spacer.

It's just hard to pass by them indifferently.

The photo above shows the destination of this walk, which is the Dancing House. It is an office building that was built in 1996. The modern architecture of this building is completely different from the older one, which is so plentiful in Prague.

After taking several photos in this location, the memory card in the camera ran out of space. It was almost 18 o'clock on the clocks. We had one more goal to complete and return to the hotel. This goal was to find a local brewery and drink local beer, but there are no more photos of this and there will be no report ;)

Pozostało nam zrealizowanie jeszcze jednego celu i powrót do hotelu.

Thanks for your visit and best regards

Dzięki za wizytę i pozdrawiam

I love Prague! One of the most beautiful cities in the world with amazing architecture! I'm so glad these buildings were preserved for us to see, and not bombed to shit during the wars.

This place is usually a bit too crowded for my liking but it surely is one of the most beautiful spots here in Prague and you took some very nice pictures there. Well deserved feature in Pinmapple Top 3 yesterday, congrats :)

Thanks :)
I don't like crowds either, it's hard to take good shots then, you have to wait until there are fewer of them. Still, it's worth taking a walk with them in a city like Prague.
