Visiting "La Vela" at Christmas/Visitando "La Vela" en navidad 🎄

Hello friends of Hive and Hive Margarita, happy new year to everyone! I hope you are all doing well and that you ended 2025 on a high note. I wish you a 2026 filled with accomplished goals, health, success, and lots of family togetherness. Today I'm stopping by to share some photos of La Vela Shopping Center, where I recently went with my family to see the Christmas decorations that we hadn't been able to see yet, and because that shopping center is always the prettiest of them all and is also our favorite.

Hola amigos de Hive y Hive Margarita, feliz año para todos! Espero que todos se encuentren muy bien y que hayan cerrado 2025 de buena manera, les deseo un 2026 de metas cumplidas, salud, éxito y mucha unión familiar, hoy paso para compartirles unas fotos del Centro Comercial La Vela a donde fui hace poco con mi familia a ver las decoraciones navideñas que todavía no habíamos podido ver y porque ese centro comercial siempre es el más bonito de todos y es nuestro favorito también.

This shopping center has two wings, as you know, and both are beautifully decorated, but for me, it's the old wing where most of the decorations are concentrated, starting with the main attraction, which is the giant tree that occupies three floors and is decorated differently every year.

This year, they organized nutcrackers on each level of the tree, along with lots of lights, musical notes, and gifts. They also hung nutcrackers from the ceiling above the tree, parachuting down. The tree and the whole space looked very beautiful.

Este centro comercial tiene dos alas como ustedes saben y las dos las decoran muy bonito, pero para mi es en el ala vieja donde se concentran la mayoría de las decoraciones comenzando por la atracción principal que es el árbol gigante que ocupa los tres pisos y cada año lo decoran diferente.

Este año fueron cascanueces que organizaron en cada nivel del árbol además de muchas luces, notas musicales y regalos, también pusieron cascanueces colgando del techo por encima del árbol cayendo en paracaídas. Les quedó muy bonito el árbol y todo ese espacio.

This year they didn't put up as many decorations as in other years, when there were several places set up for taking photos. In fact, in the new wing we only saw one that was like a shop with Christmas trees on either side and a big red chair for taking photos. That space was also very nice, but apart from that, all they had were lots of lights and the decorations they always put on the ceiling, which are a kind of banner.

In the new wing, they set up a Christmas-themed selfie box with four spaces for photos. In addition, in one of the hallways, they have a sleigh with reindeer, which is very pretty, but that space was closed, and you couldn't take photos there. Overall, the mall was very pretty and is a good place to walk and stroll with the family. If you haven't been there this Christmas, I invite you to stop by so you can see the decorations and also the new stores and food outlets, of which there are many right now.

Este año ellos no pusieron tantas decoraciones como otros años que habían varios lugares preparados para tomarse fotos, es más en el ala nueva nada más vimos uno que era como una tienda que tenía a los lados árboles de navidad y una silla roja grande para tomarse fotos, ese espacio también estaba muy bonito pero ya aparte de eso lo que tenían eran muchas luces y los adornos que ellos siempre ponen en el techo que son una especie de pendones.

En el ala nueva pusieron acomodaron la caja de selfies con tema navideño, y son 4 espacios para fotos, y aparte en uno de los pasillos tienen un trineo con renos que está muy bonito, pero ese espacio estaba cerrado y ahí no se podía tomar fotos. En general el centro comercial estaba muy bonito y es un buen lugar para caminar y pasear con la familia y si no han ido esta navidad los invito a pasar por allá para que puedan ver las decoraciones y también las tiendas y locales de comida nuevos que hay muchos ahorita.
