Día nacional de la niña y el niño indígena [Esp/Eng]

Espero todos se encuentren muy bien, y estén teniendo una gran semana.

Hoy les traigo unas fotos de la actividad realizada en el colegio donde trabajo en conmemoración del día "nacional de la niña y el niño indígena" , que se festeja todos los 18 de marzo. En este día se celebra el reconocimiento e inclusión de todos los pueblos indígenas con el propósito de resaltar la memoria y futuro de nuestras culturas originarias.

Para ello el plantel realizó junto con el encargado de enseñar a las niños y niñas las culturas de los indígenas guaiqueries, indígenas originarios de la isla de Margarita, una demostración de las herramientas utilizadas para cazar, las cuales también se utilizan en la actualidad para festejar los juegos entre todos los pueblos indígenas del país.

Con la ayuda de niños vestidos de indigenas explico el uso de la cerbatana, la cual es una especie de tubo hecho con madera y donde se le introducen unas flechas pequeñas impregnadas de veneno, que luego es disparada soplando por uno de los extremos.

Luego explico el uso de la lanza, que es una herramienta utilizada para cazar animales en movimiento, luego explicó el uso de la lanza "Guica", la cual es un poco más pequeña y es utilizada cómo arma de precisión y sirve para cazar animales que se encuentren estáticos o tengan poco movimiento. Los indios Guaiqueríes lo utilizaban generalmente para la pesca y sobre todo para cazar las tortugas Cardón o Carey.

También explicó el uso del arco y la flecha, la cuál es elaborado con madera y sirve para cazar animales en movimiento y a gran distancia.

Y por último trajo a relevancia una actividad que realizan en los juegos entre los pueblos indígenas que es la carrera de troncos, que consiste en correr con un tronco sobre sus hombros hasta una meta señalada.

Como ven en las fotos, los niños realizaron la demostración de las herramientas de caza y la carrera de troncos.

The Guaiquerí Indians generally used it for fishing and especially for hunting Cardón or Carey turtles.

He also explained the use of the bow and arrow, which is made of wood and is used to hunt animals in motion and at a great distance.

And finally he brought to relevance an activity that they perform in the games among the indigenous peoples which is the log race, which consists of running with a log on their shoulders to a designated goal.
