Yo estoy feliz, dentro de lo que cabe y es que hoy 01 de Agosto, iniciando este largo mes, es el cumpleaños de mi mejor amigo Hector David, cumpliendo 24 añitos, un bebé del 2000.

I hope you are doing well.
I am happy, as far as I can be, because today August 1st, starting this long month, is the birthday of my best friend Hector David, turning 24 years old, a baby from 2000.
Hector ha sido mi amigo desde que tengo unos 12 años, empezamos nuestra amistad por otras amistades en común por allá por el 2013 y es increíble para mí pensar en todo lo que hemos crecido y pasado juntos en esta cantidad de años de amistad.
Desde pasar nuestra adolescencia siendo unos tontos irresponsables, hasta las peores crisis como el año 2016-2017, que quienes saben y viven en Venezuela entenderán a lo que me refiero, fueron años turbios y ambos estábamos en la secundaria, siendo él un año mayor que yo siempre nos hemos entendido en cada una de nuestras etapas.
Hector has been my friend since I was about 12 years old, we started our friendship because of other friendships in common back in 2013 and it's amazing for me to think of all that we have grown and gone through together in this amount of years of friendship.
From spending our teenage years being irresponsible fools to the worst crises like the year 2016-2017, which those who know and live in Venezuela will understand what I mean, those were murky years. We were both in high school, him being a year older than me we have always understood each other in our stages.

Recuerdo que no tenía mucho pero siempre me ha gustado hacer sentir especiales a mis amigos en todo momento, pero más en sus cumpleaños, así que reuní y compré una pequeña torta y le puse una velita, esto fue para su cumpleaños 16, siempre me recuerda este gesto porque aunque fue muy poco, fue en los peores momentos de hambre que vivimos, compartimos y pasamos un bonito momento pese a todo, es un recuerdo triste y feliz a la vez.
Y pensar que actualmente estamos atravesando un mal momento en el país, donde estamos luchando contra la dictadura, es un mal momento para cumplir años, pero intentaré hacer de su día algo lindo, como siempre he hecho desde que lo conozco🤞🏽.
I remember I didn't have much but I have always liked to make my friends feel special at all times, but more so on their birthdays, so I gathered and bought a small cake and put a little candle on it, this was for his 16th birthday, he always reminds me of this gesture because although it was very little, it was in the worst moments of hunger that we lived, we shared and spent a nice time despite everything, it is a sad and happy memory at the same time.
And to think that we are currently going through a bad time in the country, where we are fighting against the dictatorship, it is a bad time to have a birthday, but I will try to make his day something nice, as I have always done since I have known him🤞🏽.

De nuestros planes favoritos es comer, si, somos unos lambucios y comemos mucho😂, siendo nuestro top los perritos calientes, porque obviamente perro lovers por siempre🌭.
One of our favorite plans is to eat, yes, we are foodies and we eat a lot😂, being our top hot dogs, because dog lovers forever🌭.
Hector es una persona genial, extrovertido como ninguno y muy muy sabio, tiene una mentalidad que le tocó forjar como hermano mayor y yo lo admiro muchísimo. Nuestras conversaciones desde aquellos años, sentados en el frente de su casa por horas, llenaban totalmente mi corazón, volvía a casa sintiéndome mejor siempre, porque realmente fueron años muy duros.
Su familia es un abrazo a mi corazón también, me quieren y me adoptaron como una más de la familia, su mamá es genial y siempre me recibe con los brazos abiertos para chismear, comer algo o tomar café, la adoro.
Hector is a great person, extroverted like no other, and very very wise, he has a mentality that he had to forge as an older brother and I admire him a lot. Our conversations since those years, sitting in front of his house for hours, filled my heart, I would come home feeling better all the time because those were really hard years.
Her family is a hug to my heart too, they love me and adopted me as one of the family, her mom is great and always welcomes me with open arms to gossip, eat something or have coffee, I adore her.

Es algo hermoso sentirse parte de una familia que no es la tuya y tener su apoyo, ganarse su cariño, realmente no tiene precio.
Hoy estoy un poco nostálgica, por toda la situación actual y por cada recuerdo que tengo junto a Hector David, una de las personas más importantes para mí.
¡Feliz cumpleaños #24 amigo, que sigamos compartiendo muchos más, que siempre tengamos salud y vida para seguir comiendo y jodiendo y mejor aún si es fuera de este gobierno, te amo inmenso! ♡
It is a beautiful thing to feel part of a family that is not your own and to have their support, to earn their affection, it is priceless.
Today I'm a little nostalgic, for the whole current situation and for every memory I have with Hector David, one of the most important people to me.
Happy Birthday, #24 my friend, may we continue sharing many more, and may we always have health and life to continue eating, and even better if it is outside this government, I love you immensely! ♡
