En marzo fue el cumpleaños de una gran amiga de la universidad, mi hermosa Dinalba, creo que les he contado un poco de ella por acá.
Ella me pidió el favor de acompañarla a tomarse unas fotos para celebrar su cumpleaños y por supuesto que acepté encantada.

In March, it was the birthday of a great friend from college, my beautiful Dinalba, whom I think I've told you a little about here.
She asked me to accompany her to take some photos to celebrate her birthday, and of course, I gladly accepted.
Dinalba me dijo que estuviera en su casa a las 5 PM o un poco antes, quería aprovechar la luz solar y el atardecer, porque siempre la ciudad distinta nos brinda un lindo atardecer.
Ella vive cerca de mí así que no hay problemas con estar puntual allá, al llegar, conocí a su novio, quien nos llevó en su carro hasta el lugar.
Resulta que Dinalba está en un grupo que se llama Team Jeep Monagas, su novio tiene un Jeep y conoce una gran cantidad de gente que también pertenecen al grupo, entre ellos, conocimos a Salvador, un agradable señor que prestó su casa en San Miguel (una zona bien acomodada de la ciudad) y su Jeep para las fotos de Dinalba.
Dinalba told me to be at her house at 5 PM or a little earlier. She wanted to take advantage of the sunlight and sunset because the city always offers us a beautiful sunset.
She lives near me, so it was easy to be there on time. When I arrived, I met her boyfriend, who drove us to the location in his car.
It turns out that Dinalba is in a group called Team Jeep Monagas. Her boyfriend has a Jeep and knows a lot of people who also belong to the group. Among them, we met Salvador, a nice man who lent his house in San Miguel (a well-to-do area of the city) and his Jeep for Dinalba's photos.

Yo estaba impresionada porque era primera vez que venía hacia esta zona de la ciudad y todo era muy bonito, las casas eran enormes y había un lago precioso, soy muy fan de estas cosas, así que yo estaba muy feliz.
Salvador estacionó el Jeep cerca del lago y aquí sacamos muchas fotos, Dinalba con sus globos de 24 y su torta en honor al team Jeep Monagas.
I was impressed because it was my first time in this part of the city and everything was very beautiful. The houses were huge and there was a beautiful lake. I'm a big fan of these things, so I was very happy.
Salvador parked the Jeep near the lake and we took lots of photos there, with Dinalba holding her 24 balloons and her cake in honor of Team Jeep Monagas.
Después nos fuimos a El Escorpión un bodegón que queda cerca y ahí estuvimos sentados conversando, comiendo torta y ellos tomando cervezas, yo no tomo alcohol, así que tomé agua, pido perdón.
Amé esta experiencia porque conocí un nuevo lugar y compartí con Dinalba, me dijo que le encantaron las fotos así que hice un buen trabajo, la adoro, ella es una amistad maravillosa y espero seguir compartiendo más cumpleaños con ella.
Then we went to El Escorpión, a nearby tavern, where we sat talking, eating cake, and they drank beer. I don't drink alcohol, so I drank water. I apologize.
I loved this experience because I got to know a new place and spent time with Dinalba. She told me she loved the photos, so I did a good job. I adore her; she is a wonderful friend, and I hope to continue celebrating more birthdays with her.
