A tree
can resist the wind
to touch the clouds
through the sun.
A tree can carry flowers in its body,
breathe the same air,
and embrace the root
that fractures its bark.
A tree
knows its trunk has been mutilated
and doesn't hide its wounds.
The wind
survives the clouds,
the gray of the wood that never dies...
Survive the blood,
in its shadow...
It survives the cross
for the sin of opening its branches.
And it is the tree that breathes
so as not to die.

Un árbol
puede resistirse al viento
para tocar las nubes
a través del sol.
Puede cargar flores en su cuerpo,
respirar el mismo aire
y abrazar la raíz
que le fractura su corteza.
Un árbol
sabe que le han mutilado el tronco
y no esconde sus heridas.
El viento
sobrevive a las nubes,
al gris de la madera que no muere...
Sobrevive a la sangre,
a su sombra...
Sobrevive a la cruz
por el pecado de abrir sus ramas.
Y es el árbol quien respira
