The first selfie I ever took! [ENG/ESP]

Thursdays are days that I find attractive and magical. Perhaps this has something to do with the fact that I was born on a Thursday, and that's why I'm sharing a special moment with you on this occasion.
This is the first selfie I ever took!

As a child, I always wanted to be a photographer, among other things, of course. I had a difficult and peculiar childhood, but despite the circumstances, I was somewhat privileged. Although no one in my family was ever inclined toward art, I was somehow surrounded by the artistic world, and this fostered that spark that intrigued me and made me appreciate my surroundings differently.
I don't remember my specific age, but I do know that from a very young age, I was drawn to photography. I contemplated everything around me through my hands, placed over each other like a frame through which to visualize what I perceived. Without realizing it, I was already framing and even looking for contrasts between elements by playing with the focus or blurring I created with my eyes through the perspective of what I observed.

Since I lived right in the center of the city, it was common to see many tourists with cameras, and that made me dream of the day I'd get one. Children usually dreamed of owning one toy or another, but not me; I dreamed of owning a camera.
And the day finally came when a camera fell into my hands. It was a Lubitel 166 B, a twin-lens camera that uses 120 mm film and shoots square images measuring 6 x 6 cm. I say this in the present tense because I still lovingly keep it in perfect condition.

I thought I wouldn't have any photos saved from that time, but unexpectedly, while searching at home to participate in this interesting proposed contest by @lanzjoseg, I found none other than my first selfie, which coincides with the time I started living in the apartment where I currently reside, no longer so close to the city center.
As you can see, it's not that great photograph of excellent technical quality, but I like the result. What do you think?

Los jueves son días que para mí resultan atractivos y mágicos, tal vez esto tenga relación con que nací precisamente un jueves, y por ello les comparto un momento especial en esta ocasión.
¡Se trata de la primera selfie que me hice!

De pequeño siempre quise ser fotógrafo, entre otras cosas por supuesto. Era un niño que tuvo una infancia difícil y peculiar, pero a pesar de las circunstancias, de cierto modo privilegiada. Aunque en mi familia nadie se inclinó nunca por el arte, de alguna manera sí estuve rodeado por el mundo artístico y ello potenció aquella chispa que me inquietaba y provocaba apreciar el entorno de modo diferente.
No recuerdo desde qué edad específica, pero sí sé que desde muy chico me atraía la fotografía. Contemplaba todo a mi alrededor a través de mis manos superpuestas a manera de marco por donde visualizar lo que percibía. Sin saberlo, ya hacía encuadres y buscaba incluso los contrastes entre elementos mediante el juego con el enfoque o desenfoque que hacía a mis ojos a través de la perspectiva de lo que observaba.
Comoquiera que vivía en el mismo centro de la ciudad, era común ver a muchos turistas con cámaras fotográficas y eso me hacía soñar con el día en que lograra tener. Los niños normalmente soñaban con tener uno u otro juguete, pero yo no, yo soñaba con tener una cámara fotográfica.
Y llegó el día finalmente en que llegó una cámara fotográfica a mis manos. Era una Lubitel 166 B, de dos lentes que utiliza películas de 120 mm y expone imágenes cuadradas de 6 x 6 cm. Digo así, en presente, porque aún la conservo en perfecto estado con todo cariño.
De aquella época pensé que no tendría fotos guardadas, pero inesperadamente haciendo una búsqueda en casa para participar en este interesante concurso propuesto por @lanzjoseg, encontré nada más y nada menos que mi primera selfie, que coincide con el tiempo en que comencé a vivir en el apartamento donde actualmente resido, ya no tan cerca del centro de la ciudad.
Como ven, no es esa gran fotografía de excelsa calidad técnica, pero a mí me gusta el resultado. ¿Qué les parece?
