Like someone who observes time | Reflection Hunters Contest Round 235 [EN/ES]

The clocks
no longer dot the sand,
they can't bear the ticking
of my broken wings.

The clocks mock me,
and I'm not even talking about the rain,
which deceives me with your scent.

Someone told me
that time would know
how to hide your gaze
and the clocks mock me
like someone who perforates
each of my steps
which are your steps or my footprints
or your footprints are my steps.
I don't understand anything.

A pendulum
can be the end
on the gallows of the condemned.
And yet,
it carries with it an hour.

Sometimes
I watch time
as if it were happening,
only sometimes.

Los relojes
ya no salpican la arena,
no soportan el tic tac
de mis alas rotas.

Los relojes se burlan de mi
y no hablo de la lluvia
que me engaña con tu olor.

Alguien me dijo
que el tiempo sabría
solapar tu mirada
y los relojes se burlan de mí
como quien perfora
cada uno de mis pasos
que son tus pasos o mis huellas
o tus huellas son mis pasos.
No entiendo nada.

Un péndulo
puede ser el final
en el patíbulo de los condenados.
Y aún así,
lleva consigo una hora.

A veces
observo al tiempo
como si sucediera,
solo a veces.
