Hello, portrait lovers!

I'm telling you that in recent years I've noticed a curious phenomenon in my country beyond reality, which in itself is quite curious for many who don't understand it. I confess that sometimes I don't even understand it myself, but here we are, portraying part of that everyday reality to show it to others who, perhaps, do.

The phenomenon I'm referring to relates to the press and those who read it. Every day, as I walk the streets, I only notice that the majority of people who read the print media are those whose lives are lived on the brink of poverty; people in vulnerable situations, as they are now socially classified. Of course, I'm not saying they're the only ones who access or pay attention to the media; I'm just saying that's what I see on the streets.

Vulnerability reflected in every face holding a piece of paper, or simply in time. I don't know, you tell me...

¡Hola amantes de los retratos!

Les cuento que en los últimos años he percibido un fenómeno curioso en mi país más allá de la realidad, que de por sí es bastante curiosa para muchos que no la comprenden. Confieso que a veces ni yo mismo la comprendo, pero acá estamos, retratando parte de esa realidad cotidiana para mostrarla a otros que, tal vez, sí la comprendan.

El fenómeno al que me refiero es relativo a la prensa y quienes la leen. Cada día, en mi transitar por las calles, solo percibo que la mayoría de las personas que leen la prensa plana son aquellos cuyas vidas se desarrollan en el límite de la pobreza; personas en situación de vulnerabilidad, como ahora se les clasifica socialmente. Por supuesto, no asevero que sean los únicos que acceden, o prestan atención a los medios de prensa, solo digo que es lo que se observa en las calles.

Vulnerabilidad que se refleja en cada rostro sosteniendo un papel, o simplemente al tiempo. No sé, díganme ustedes...
