a sign,

your eyes.
I remain lost in the signal
and my breathlessness
in your absence.
My clouds bleed between the lines.
Hopeless signs
of the inert.
I touch memory,
I point to clouds
with my open arms...
and sigh.
The signal seems
too obvious
from the gesture
above the clouds.
And despite everything
the sun exists.
