Muzeum Jihovýchodní Moravy ve Strážnici je ucelený soubor historických staveb, přenesených z původních lokací. Zrestaurovaných do původní podoby. Představuje se zde vesnická architektura tzv. Slovácka.

The Museum of Southeastern Moravia in Strážnice is a complete collection of historical buildings, transferred from their original locations. Restored to original form. The village architecture of the so-called Slovácko is presented here.

Jsou zde postaveny originály vesnických stavení od těch, co patřily těm nejchudším chalupníkům, až po stavení bohatších sedláků. Často ukazují i původní technologie výstavby těchto objektů, například ze sušených hliněných cihel, tzv, kotovic, které se dělaly z hlíny, a slámy a pak sušily na slunci. Nebo ukázka hliněných omítek.
Original village buildings are built here, from those that belonged to the poorest cottagers to the buildings of richer peasants. They also often show the original construction technologies of these objects, for example from dried clay bricks, so-called anchors, which were made from clay and straw and then dried in the sun. Or a sample of clay plasters.

Areál se průběžně buduje od roku 1973. Tady se například staví budova vodního mlýna. každý jednotlivý kámen je na původní lokaci odebrán, očištěn, očíslován a na novém místě ve skanzenu znovu umístěn na původní místo.
Jen mlýnská kola a náhony místní tesaři a truhláři vyrábějí nová, protože ta původní už jsou zničená a nedají se použít. Je to neuvěřitelně přesná a precizní práce
The area has been continuously built since 1973. For example, a water mill building is being built here. each individual stone is removed from its original location, cleaned, numbered and re-placed in its original location at a new location in the open-air museum.

Celý areál se rozkládá na ploše cca 16 hektarů a je zde k vidění také třeba vinný sklep s původním lisem na hrozny

Expozice nabízí skvělý zážitek. Je příležitostí seznámit se s historií vesnické architektury, historickými technoligickými postupy, které se začínají znovu uplatňovat i dnes, například v ekologickém stavitelství a určitě stojí za to ji navštívit.
The exhibition offers a great experience. It is an opportunity to learn about the history of village architecture, historical technological procedures that are starting to be used again today, for example in ecological construction, and it is definitely worth a visit.

Docela mne to překvapilo ten úspěch. Dík za gratulaci a za podporu. Ve Strážnici jsem strávil většinu života. Jsem odtamtud rodák.
Počkej, až přijde první stodolarový článek :) Pokud vydržíš, určitě se dočkáš. I když samozřejmě záleží hodně i na ceně Hive. Teďka kolem těch 30 centů za Hive se stodolarové články nerodí úplně lehce...

Ten řádek s TipU není odkaz. Tím příkazem jsem ti sem jen přivolal hlasy od TipU. Je to jeden z mnoha místních komunitních kurátorských projektů. Jsem jedním z těch, kteří TipU hlasy rozdělují. Můžu jich každý den rozdat několik. Tobě jsem tu poslal trojitý, proto ta trojka...
