Old gnarled oak trees swamped in water offers touch of mystique to John's Castle that is a grand looking old building.
Even the minaret in the previous post is built on oak piles, oak does not rot in water but hardens even more. In the end, it's as strong as steel
Sturdy oak was referred in history of being such a reliable tree used in building or decor for endurance.
What a beautiful old castle indeed, I love the place, it was so calm and very relaxing place.

Když jsem chtěl být na Janohradu poprvé, což je snad víc než 30 let, tak jsem šel podle mapy od Lednického zámku - a nenašel ho. Prostě jsem zabloudil.
Samozřejmě jsem ho našel při mé další návštěvě Lednice, ale doteď mi není jasné, jak jsem mohl na tak poměrně krátké a jednoduché trase zakufrovat. Asi bludný kořen nebo co. GPS tehdy ještě nebyla :)
Jsou tam dvě možnosti, ještě jedna kolem Apolónova chrámu, ale tohle bylo kratší a my ten minaret i Janohrad šli v jednom zátahu
Tohle už je slušná odměna. To by mohlo někoho z Tvého okolí přilákat. Pokud mu vysvětlíš, je z toho čísla na obrazovce udělat jednu Němcovou v jeho peněžence.
Docela mne to překvapilo, večer to mělo nějakých 15 a kouknu ráno .... Zkusím zeťáka, i když nemá moc volného času. Ale umí psát, celkem slušně zvládá i angličtinu, jako novinář projel půl Evropy. Akorát teď dělá sérii podcastů Klub rváčů a je dost zaneprázdněný. Začátkem srpna přijedou k nám tak ho zkusím zlanařit. On už se posledně zaregistroval, ale jak tu byli jen den, tak jsem mu toho moc ukázat nestihl. Když tak se koukni. Já si to vždycky pouštím, když jedu někam vlakem.
