Dnes o kostelu svatého Jakuba staršího v blízké obci Moravská Nová Ves. První písemná zmínka o obci pochází z roku 1265. Byla v majetku cisterciáckého velehradského kláštera. Současný kostel má podobu z roku 1773. V roce 2021 byl velmi poškozen tornádem, které se obcí prohnalo a byla uplně zničena střecha a vitrážové okna.
