I had to grin when I saw you were using paper plates. I like that you are using whatever is at hand. So much history of art includes artists using whatever they can find to use.

I painted in acrylics long before I chose to start learning about adding collage, mixed media and all that. I was fascinated as I studied it, all the things folks used. I printed on some coffee filters once and of course junk mail can be a huge source. I do buy stuff to use it is true, but I do use some of both.

This is great. The light coming in through these really makes them pop. Will also make them breakdown over time, too, which is a good thing, because ephemeral things like this should be examined for their beauty.

I was thinking I would like to run them a printing press - glued on a nice piece of paper. Man I really miss having access to the print making dept. at Long Beach State University. They have a Big manual crank press there that's so nice
