Dodging traffic and people and finding any place with shade, parking and a restroom.

I can't really remember ever feeling free. I think I might have felt a little bit of it back in the 60's or early 70's but even then it was freakin near impossible to go anywhere without having to cross the LA nightmare zone. We did get down to Mexico pretty easily for a while. Thats totally changed now. The state of mind many people have that I have never had. free --- let's go... free from dread and worry. oh well
