My mom had one. Not as nice as this. "Three on tree" It would get stuck sometimes when I would stop at a light. I would have to get out and pop the hood reach in and pull the linkage to get it to work. Jump back in and drive off. :)

In winter, I had to literally put a sleeping bag on my car's bonnet/hood at night to try and protect the battery. If I forgot it wouldn't start! The accelerator cable was tied together with a shoe lace before I got it fixed. Can you imagine getting away with that today? I could write a book lol.
Haha! These guys and gals put a lot of money and time in these cars. Whew...
