Mat Periuk Café neon sign

This is another stop during my short vacation at Ipoh. In the photograph is the neon sign for Mat Periuk Café, which is located at Kinta Riverfront, a new attraction center in Ipoh.

I ask one of the street vendor at Kinta Riverfront regarding the operation hours. he told me that the park is open from 5 pm until 2 am. I can see at the park, there are a variety of attractions.

Attractions are such as busking corners, electric bike rentals, neon lights decorations, and several restaurants serving different types of food. Mat Periuk Café specializes in western cuisine.

During my visit to Kinta Riverfront, I didn't stop at Mat Periuk Café to try their menu. The café was packed with customers, likely because it was a public holiday.

After spending around 30 minutes at the location, I decided to go to Dataran Ipoh which is about 15 minutes away. I went to OldTown Kopitiam at Dataran Ipoh for dinner instead of staying at Kinta Riverfront.

My main reason for this decision was to avoid the crowds at the attraction center.
