Going to Jalan Jalan Japan thrift shop
In these few years, there has been a lot of emergence of thrift shops. Within Kuala Lumpur, the most trending type of thrift shop is thrift shops that sold second-hand items from Japan.
As for as I know, there are three thrift shops that sold second-hand items from Japan which are (i) Jalan Jalan Japan, (ii) Sasuke Premium Outlet, and (iii) Bandoru Store.
I was in midst of watching a movie with my family at our home when I suddenly remembered a video that I saw on TikTok about Jalan Jalan Japan thrift shop. In the video, the staff was promoting newly arrived stocks of second-hand kimonos at their branches.
The nearest branch of Jalan Jalan Japan to my house is at Skypark @ One City, Subang USJ. The distance would be around 20 to 25 minutes of driving. I told my wife about the video and I asked her whether she wanted to Jalan Jalan Japan.
We are the Pioneer in Japan’s Preloved market. Our name “BOOKOFF” is recognize by 97% of population in Japan. Half of all Japanese have sold their items at BOOKOFF stores. “BOOKOFF” means stores that buy anything: >> Source Link <<
Long story short, she said yes and we told our kids to change their cloth and get ready to go out. After all of us were ready, we get into the car and I started driving from Subang Perdana to the Jalan Jalan Japan branch at Skypark.
Parking was really easy because Skypark @ One City is not crowded compared to the weekdays. There are a lot of offices nearby Skypark, so during weekdays, the crowds are bigger.
Jalan Jalan Japan is located at level 1 of Skypark @ One City. From the parking, we took the elevator and exited the lift at level 1. From there, you can see a big sign stating "Jalan Jalan Japan"
Jalan Jalan = to go for a stroll / taking a stroll
Jalan Jalan Japan = Taking a stroll in Japan
When we go inside the thrift shop, there were not that many customers. But by the time we wanted to pay for our items, I noticed the number of customers increased by three-fold.
Overall, we spent around 1 hour plus inside Jalan Jalan Japan thrift shop and spent MYR100 there. My eldest daughter bought a jacket and a pair of shoes. My youngest daughter bought an interactive activity cube toy. While my wife bought a bag and a sweater.
I on the other hand didn't buy anything for myself. Seeing the happy smile on my family's face is good enough for me 😁

Wow, there's a lot to see and to choose on that thrift shop. Id thr prices are all good I might buy a lot if it's me. Your fam get home happily for sure (◕ᴗ◕✿)
Yay! 🤗
